Missouri reports Zika case in pregnant woman, travel history to Nicaragua
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – A San Francisco resident has tested positive for the Zika virus, the Department of Public Health announced Friday.

Zika has also been linked to cases of autoimmune diseases in adults. The first case in the state was reported on March 18. Soon enough, mosquitos will swarm much of the United States, making an outbreak of Zika very possible.
But there were other advisories specific to business.
“Today’s test result highlights the need for everyone to take precautions if they are travelling to areas affected by Zika”.
A new set of guidelines published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in conjunction with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a direct call to employers, to take a more concerted role in protecting employees working in zika-affected areas. The dread might be more intense now with the threat of the mosquito-borne Zika virus.
