Missouri suspends QB Maty Mauk indefinitely
The embattled Missouri Tigers quarterback, Maty Mauk, has been suspended indefinitely from the program. After playing the first four games for Missouri, he was twice suspended – once for a violation of team rules, the other after a bar confrontation – and didn’t play again.

Monday night a video appeared on Twitter showing what appears to be Mauk-who is tagged in the Tweet as well-snorting what appears to be cocaine. Most of the line remains intact. He stands up, rubs his nose, screams and smiles at the camera as the video ends. It is unclear when the footage was recorded and by whom.

This marks Mauk’s third suspension from the Tigers since September. Mauk was in the news recently about being reinstated back onto the team… Odom said on December 23 that he expected Mauk to compete with freshman Drew Lock to regain his starting job. The incident came just hours after Mauk apologized to his teammates for his actions precipitating a four-game suspension earlier in the season. “I wanted to get his feel on where he was and what he wanted to do quite frankly”.

Mauk, a junior, has had a troubled tenure at Mizzou. The football team did make national headlines however, when they threatened to refuse to play in protest of the university administration’s handling of racial issues.
