Mitt Romney Continues His Crusade Against Donald Trump on ‘Today’

In the Republican debate in Detroit on Thursday night, Donald Trump and Marco Rubio exchanged pointed insults during a heated exchange over Trump’s business dealings.

It all started when Sen.

Kasich, who is aiming to win his home state of OH over Trump in a March 15 primary, applauded some of Romney’s critique of the businessman, but added that “I don’t think you beat Trump by personal attacks” and he is “not interested in name-calling”.

“For 40 years, Donald has been part of the corruption in Washington” that people are angry about, Cruz said, citing Trump’s campaign contributions to leading Democrats, including then-Sen”.

Pressed on policy matters, Trump, in short order, signaled a willingness to deal on any number of issues.

Ted Cruz tried to take the air out of Trump’s sails at one point, after a Trump interruption.

Holding up both hands to the audience, the Republican said: “He (Rubio) referred to my hands, “if they’re small, something else must be small”.

“Look at those hands, are they small hands?” the front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination said, raising them for viewers to see.

The Florida senator has even traded barbs with Trump regarding his manhood, as Trump responded to Rubio’s comment regarding his “small hands”.

The frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination wanted to guarantee you “there’s no problem” with the size of his dick.

“Everything’s about Trump”, said Steve Boron, an undecided voter from Westland, after walking out of the theatre Thursday night.

With Detroit’s Ben Carson’s exit from the debate this week, the stage will only hold four.

RUBIO: Yes, you know, Bret, let me say something.

The Ohio governor, who came in second in New Hampshire by running on a moderate message, hasn’t had a single victory in the 2016 election, and some Republicans are accusing Kasich of taking away valuable support from Rubio. And because it was in response to another attack from Trump, it was fair to defend himself.

Attacking Trump’s pledge to “make America great again”, Ms Clinton had said “America never stopped being great!”.

“The way they tried to trip him up, they were just petty”, said Murray.

But the fact all three of Mr Trump’s competitors conceded they would support him, may only serve to bolster his already significant lead.
