Overall, the weather could have less of an impact than a typical Monday because schools and many workplaces are closed for the Presidents Day holiday.
The worst of the conditions should fall between Monday evening and very early Tuesday morning.
The snow is falling and more snow and ice is on the way.
Temperatures are warming in most of North Carolina, but problems including power outages lingered after the snow, sleet and freezing rain.

The high Tuesday will be around 55 degrees in Springfield and Worcester, 57 in Boston, 50 in Pittsfield.
