Ultimate Fighting Championship champion and actress Ronda Rousey on Tuesday endorsed Vermont senator Bernie Sanders for president.

Known for her quick finishes, Rousey had only three opponents in four fights that made it past the one minute mark (Sarah McMann, Liz Camouche and twice to Meisha Tate).

The undefeated UFC champion, in a recent Maxim interview, praised the Democratic candidate for not taking corporate money, saying she doesn’t believe politicians should be allowed to finance their campaign with funds from outside interests.

Rousey’s selection to appear on the Ring Magazine cover has of course gotten its share of criticism.

“Ronda has been the driving force behind the growing popularity of women’s MMA and is paving the way for other young fighters in the women’s division”, EA Sports said in a press release.

If he doesn’t win against Hillary, then I’ll probably vote for a third party again.

“I voted for Roseanne last time”, Rousey said.

This news may come as a shock to a few after Donald Trump claimed early this summer that Rousey was in favor of a Trump presidency. “Trust me, every time something comes it’s just going to remind me, ‘I’m the champion.’ I think I can handle that”.

I mean, I wouldn’t vote for him.

“I really hope I deserve this”, Rousey told News Corp.

Speaking ahead of her bantamweight title fight against Holly Holm at Docklands on Sunday, Rousey said she was honoured to meet Payne – the first woman to ride the victor of “the race that stops the nation”. “I think that would actually be a really good fight”.

The unbeaten Rousey defends her world title this weekend against Holly Holm in Melbourne, Australia.

The Ring Magazine issue will start landing on stores starting November 15, a day after her scheduled UFC 193 tiff against Holly Holm.

According to CNN, the business mogul considered Rousey as one of the best female fighters in the world.

The most dominant fighter in the history of women’s UFC division will be looking to finish the match quickly, just like she did against Bethe Correia in 34 seconds only.
