“YOU, (her fans) were some of the most special people in her world, and she loved you immensely”, he wrote on Raiola’s official Twitter account. Prayers & peace to her family.
The Mob Wives star was being treated for stage 4 lung and brain cancer at the time of her passing. “Things happen for a reason”, she told People previous year.
Her family is, understandably, in mourning at the moment and asks that they are given the privacy and respect needed to deal with the loss of their mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was first diagnosed with throat cancer last April (15), at which point doctors removed a tumour in her throat.
“Sometimes I think I’m going to be fine and sometimes I just don’t think I am”, she told the host.
After two surgeries, she thought she was in the clear, only to be diagnosed with stage VI lung and brain cancer.
Raiola gave fans a look into her cancer battle on an episode of “Mob Wives”, which is in its final season, earlier this month. “We also spoke to Mob Wives creator, Jennifer Graziano who told us: “I am saddened to say that At 3:01 am Ang lost her battle with cancer”, Jennifer told us”.
In 2015, she and her husband, Neil Murphy, also appeared on the VH1 reality series “Couples Therapy”. “I feel now it’s too late. Bye. I won’t forget the great times we had together in Miami with Angela, myself and the rest of the girls”.

There’s no question about whether, in her 55 years, Big Ang left her mark. “…I will love you, cherish you, and hold you in my heart wherever I go, and whatever I do”.
