Mobile Gives Customers Free Data, Calls in Brazil for Rio Games
Traveling to Rio de Janeiro alone is a pretty big deal for most of us, but it’s even more huge when you’re going there for the Olympic Games.

T-Mobile today announced free roaming promo for those who will attend this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio.
For more information, check out this site, and to get two free smartphones per Olympic athlete, reach out to T-Mobile here. Customers will also get free calls from Brazil to the US, and thanks to Simple Global, they get unlimited texting, too.
T-Mobile’s Brazil Unleashed promotion will give free unlimited high-speed data to Simple Choice postpaid customers going to the Rio 2016 Olympics. But they tend to lack the sheer feistiness and value that Legere likes to offer to retain his existing customers and capture new ones. The benefits will automatically be available once those customers land in Brazil. In addition, T-Mobile is offering family members of United States athletes a free Samsung Galaxy S7 edge smartphone, free Samsung Gear 360 camera, and free T-Mobile service throughout the Summer Olympics in Brazil.

In a statement, T-Mobile CEO John Legere criticized rival AT&T, which is charging customers $50 for its Brazil Summer add-on, which offers 1GB of roaming data and access to more than 1,000 Wi-Fi hotspots in the country. AT&T holds a special role, as it’s one of the official sponsors of the games.
