Mobile’s Nexus 6 Will Get Android Marshmallow Soon
Taiwan based ASUS has officially confirmed the Android 6.0 Marshmallow rollout on their official forum, where the company confirmed that they are planning to release the update for their PadFone S, ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML/ZE551ML), ZenFone 2 Deluxe/ Special Edition (ZE551ML), ZenFone 2 Laser (all models – ZE500KG/ZE500KL/ZE550KL/ZE600KL/ZE601KL), as well as for the ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL).

According to Phone Arena, reports coming in from Poland state that the LG G3 will receive its Android 6.0 update by mid-December, specifically between Dec. 16 and Dec. 18.
At the end of September Google officially announced Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the software set to replace Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Google wants developers to update their Android Wear apps, and soon. T-Mobile users were always free to flash the standard Nexus 6 Marshmallow builds from Google, but likely wouldn’t have been able to enjoy WiFi calling properly.
T-Mobile social evangelist Des clarified on Twitter that the certification process was ongoing and that T-Mobile would have more to share about the band 12 status for the 6P “soon”. As a result, the carrier had to get a new build which had to be tested out again.
The wait is now finally over for Nexus 6 owners on T-Mobile.

And while the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 seem to be on course of getting that Android 6.0 M bump, there is one variant which may not be getting its patch update just yet – the OnePlus X. An alert for its availability should pop up automatically. Assuming its goal is to be in response of the Android security update criticisms, other Reddit users demonstrated an amount of curiousness for that feature, claiming that the date stated on the feature seems “suspicious”.
