Mobile says it’s now safe to update your iPhone to iOS 10

However, in order for this to function your device will have to run on iOS 10, which has been released a few days ago and it can be downloaded and installed on eligible smartphones.

Apple told media outlets that a brief issue with the software update process was the cause of the problem which has been “quickly resolved”.

This isn’t the first issue to come out of Apple’s iOS 10 rollout.

If you aren’t already on iOS 10, you can now update by going to Settings General Software Update on your device to perform the update to iOS 10.

As always, launch periods for software can be fraught with issues, despite the gajillion beta phases in the months leading up to release. But now that iOS 10 is out, you can finally get rid of those space-hogging apps for good.

For those who haven’t tried updating to iOS 10 yet may do so now as Apple have already made the necessary fixes in the error.

Most of the upgrades are only available if you’ve updated your iPhone to iOS 10. It also has new features like “raise to wake”, customization of animation speed, better keyboard and greatly improved battery life. Users had to connect to iTunes and do a restore, potentially losing data and taking a long time. However, I’m not too sure why you’d want to use this feature as traditional notifications present you with a lot more information. These patches enhance the security on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch making them ideal for those of you who store sensitive files/data on your device.

Other new features include double tapping on the display to switch between your rear and front-facing cameras and chats you frequently contact now appear when forwarding messages. Apple, on its part has assured everyone that the issues will be sorted out soon, but the start for iOS 10 has certainly been buggy.

Here's why you should upgrade to iOS 10 only via iTunes
