Mobile tells its iPhone users to skip latest iOS 10 update

T-Mobile US (TMUS) took the unusual step Thursday of warning its iPhone 6 customers not to download Apple’s latest operating system, iOS 10, saying on Twitter id had been getting reports of connectivity issues.

Going by the complaints, the problem has apparently cropped up for T-Mobile customers after the rollout of the latest 25.1 carrier update on iPhones running the newest iOS version, iOS 10.

All affected users can head to Settings General About to install the fix, and install the fix to resolve the issue.

While some folks that were dealing with iOS 10’s connectivity issues could reset their device to temporarily fix the issue, it’s still frustrating to have to deal with a connection that’ll randomly go in and out. Meanwhile, the issue has been fixed, as Apple has already released iOS 10.0.1 and users have recovered their iPhones and iPads.

Other users have found the software drains their batteries faster or suffers connectivity problems with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, though these problems will probably be resolved as the device updates and telecom carriers adjust.

The company and its chief executives, including CEO John Legere, claim that Apple is “working on a fix” for the problems, and that it’ll be released within the next 24-48 hours. He claimed that the upgrade is causing iPhone 6, iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone SE units to lose connection to the T-mobile network. If so, does this new update fix the problems?
