Yoshinori Kitase teased back in January 2016 that the coming months would be very important for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake project. Perhaps the “Holiday Pack” refers to the costumes that Tabata mentions, but at this point, virtually everything about the content of the DLC packs is pure speculation.

While this will likely prove too much at this time, a new update on the Final Fantasy 7 remake is long overdue. I know we’ve showcased some of our PlayStation VR demos this E3, and those are some things we’re planning to implement and provide as DLC experiences. At least three of the DLCs seem to be story episodes based around Ignis, Gladio, and Prompto, three of the games main characters. Final Fantasy XV will be released on September 30th for Xbox One and PS4.

Unfortunately, Square Enix has not opened the Season Pass up to just anyone.

The major problem is that there’s no telling what’s in the season pass because there’s nothing listed as far as content is concerned.

During his Interview with Famitsu, which was translated by KH Insider, Nomura revealed that the company is planning to host a special event to provide details about the upcoming game.

For now, fans will have to wait for Square Enix to provide concrete details about the game. Considering that the image of the season pass upgrade on the PlayStation Store features Noctis’ buddies Ignis, Prompto, and Gladiolus, it would make sense that the DLC would focus on them.

But Enix has been releasing news at a consistent rate in regard to gameplay, graphics, and more.
