Modern Warfare Trilogy coming next week – but only to Xbox 360 & PS3

Those looking to experience Modern Warfare on current-gen should look at the premium versions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as it’ll include a remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. One of these chains is the electronics store BestBuy, which is now offering a Modern Warfare Trilogy sale. Modern Warfare 2 will have the original title and DLC 1 which is the Stimulus Package. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy will hit Xbox 360 and PS3 on Tuesday, May 17 in the USA, according to Best Buy, with 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and 2011’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. However, considering that doing so may negatively impact upon the sales of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Legacy Edition, which includes Modern Warfare Remastered, it’s unlikely that this will be the case. All three games were developed by Infinity Ward and this could be publisher Activision’s way of saying goodbye to previous-gen consoles. While this trilogy combines the three games in a better package for newcomers, it makes more sense to release them on the current-generation consoles. The game recently appeared on Best Buy with a release date of May 17.
