In a related development, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government announced mourning for three days in the province in the wake of the terror attack on the Bacha Khan University, Charsadda.
The prime minister further said that the government believes in transparency in the policies of governance, and Pakistan is on its way to self-reliability.
“When I took over, terrorists were creating havoc all over the country. But our resolve to fight against terrorism is getting stronger every day”, Sharif said.
Another official said the United States has convoyed to Pakistan that it is also pressing India to be patient.
“A very good turnaround is taking place in Pakistan and investment is pouring in”, Sharif said.
The other participants conveyed their grief over the loss of precious lives in the terror strike on Bacha Khan University and said the challenge of terrorism needs to be addressed through cooperation.

The prime minister said the CPEC was not limited to Pakistan alone as it would benefit the entire region. He said the economy has stabilized due to improved security situation.
