Mr Kejriwal also expressed apprehension that the AAP government’s proposal to increase minimum wages by up to 50 per cent could be shot down by Mr Jung.

He said this after Lt Governor Najeeb Jung termed as “incorrect” the chief minister’s allegations that he cancelled the AAP government’s decision to make discoms compensate consumer for unscheduled outages. Is it illegal? Sources: Big companies met Modiji n opposed it. “They were bound to pay a penalty of Rs 100 for every hour”.
Jung rubbished Kejriwal’s oft-repeated claim that he and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have tried to stop the AAP’s governance initiatives.
A statement from the LG’s office said that the media reports, quoting the Chief Minister that fifteen days ago, the LG called the file pertaining to this matter and cancelled the order, is incorrect and misleading. “Why Modiji needed to turn down this order?” He claimed that if the order had been passed, the power situation would have been better in the national capital. Speaking at an event in Delhi last evening, Mr Jung said that he was in the process of overturning “illegal decisions” taken by the AAP government. Kejriwal also claimed that the LG had sought the power subsidy file after PM Modi instructed him to do so when he had cautioned against a hike in power tariff in the city.
During the function in the northwest Delhi area, some people waved black flags at Mr Kejriwal.
He also alleged that only one de-addiction centre has been opened by the AAP which had promised in its manifesto that it will make Delhi alcohol-free.
“Besides Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Cabinet colleagues and party MLAs, a large number of representatives of workers unions from the Centre as well as Delhi are expected to participate in Shramik Samvad”, Rai said while addressing a press conference here.
He said if the proposal is approved, such colonies will be regularised within 24 hours.
“We can not wait for Modiji’s nod”.
“The way the Centre is creating hurdles, it has never happened in the India’s history”. He added that when deputy CM Manish Sisodia went to meet the lieutenant governor recently, he “fell at his feet to request that some officials are not transferred till March 31”, but LG Najeeb Jung did not budge from his stand.

“I appeal to people of Delhi to ensure that BJP, which got three seats, doesn’t win even a single seat in the next Assembly election”, he said.
