Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been hailed as “God’s gift to India” at BJP’s national executive meeting that closed here, by former party president and urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday.

Asked about what Modi spoke on nationalism, a issue that has dominated the two-day meet, Singh said, “He (Modi) said nationalism is our strength…” “We should not let the Opposition succeed in diverting the attention of people”.

“We believe this is one issue on which there should be no debate”. No allegations of corruption in last 22 months since the time our government took over… all workers have to equally feel for the campaign…

After Modi rode a wave to power in Lok Sabha elections, the BJP government has been rolling out one scheme after including Jan Dhan, Pahal, Mudra, Fasal Bima Yojana, Skill India and Soil Health Card to uplift millions out of poverty. Keeping anyone away is not a good move.

Referring to the future, Modi in attempt to make inclusiveness as party’s motto, said, “we have to decide if we want to make the organisation strong as iron or big as a banyan tree which gives shelter to everyone from scorching sun”. “We are moving forward while our Opposition is trying to push us backward”. “To fight negativity, there is a need for intellectual capability and content. As we are in government we should change negative people into those with a positive thinking”, he added.

The budget this year has been widely appreciated and this is because this is a budget for the poor, the villages and the farmers, Modi underlined.

The government’s achievement on the front of electrification of villages was also the part of PM’s address.

Singh told journalists in Delhi, “PM is happy, we have reached new height with 11 crore members”.
