Mods Not Coming to PS4 Because of Sony Says Bethesda
While we do agree that it is nice to see that Playstation 4 Pro finally has a decent GPU under its hood, we do not agree that this is anywhere close to the PC. Besides the brand new games and support coming to VR, it looks like there’s going to be integration for a multitude of other things like concerts, apps, live footage of events and more.

Sony’s next major PS4 firmware update 4.00 is now available for download across the world.
Mod support for Bethesda games on Xbox One has also been rife with its own set of problems as many popular game alterations from the leading site, Nexus Mods, had been replicated without proper attribution on Bethesda’s own sharing system created to allow consoles to access the files. In the wake of the PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim announcements, Sony has beefed up the magic behind the hardware to enable support of some of the features of the newer console. This came somewhat as a surprise just last week since many fans anticipated the advanced display feature to be exclusively available to the PS4 Pro.
As for the Quick Menu, it is now more customizable and more accessible as players would not even have to exit their games to use it. Do you think Sony will change their mind and hammer out whatever issues they are having with these mods? “When you select a playlist, you’ll be able to see all upcoming songs and choose to play all, or select an individual song to listen to from that playlist”. Anyone looking for some additional gaming tunes can check out PlayStation Music on Spotify. “Follow PlayStation Music on Spotify to get the latest gaming playlists first”.
There’s also support baked in for the new PS4 Pro, out on November 10.

Getting a PlayStation 4 Pro once it’s out? One is a slimmer version of the standard PlayStation 4, with no new features. Expect it to be in the region of around 300MB if you’re doing an incremental update.
