Mojang Announce Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition
At MineCon this weekend, Mojang and Microsoft announced a new version of Microsoft for Windows 10, called, strangely enough, Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition. For that you get the standard Creative and Survival modes and support for numerous new gaming features of Windows 10 such as the Game DVR recording features, cross platform multiplayer with Minecraft Pocket Edition, support for tablet, keyboard and gamepad controls and integration with Xbox Live friends features.

Telltale Games have made a name for themselves for turning established properties into fantastic adventures, but even I was dubious when it was originally announced that they’d picked up Minecraft for their regular episodic treatment.
Telltale’s Minecraft Story Mode: Comedian Patton Oswalt stars as Jesse who is on the hunt for the Order of the Stone to save the Minecraft world.
Minecraft: Story Mode is due out later in 2015 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS and Android.
He will play the character of Jesse, a man who must find the legendary adventurers the Order of the Stone, because “terror is unleashed”. As with other Telltale Games of late, it will offer players choices throughout the story.
According to Telltale’s announcement, “the Order are the very best at what they do: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect”.
The interactive storytellers at Telltale are giving players the chance to explore their own unique interpretation of the Minecraft universe. It’s actually pretty amusing too.

“We’ve worked closely with the incredible team at Mojang to ensure this story is a natural fit for the Minecraft world fans”. More casting details is set to follow.
