Mom Posts amusing Video Reminding College-Aged Son to Call Her
Ann Pinto McCarney posted a hilarious, almost five-minute video, tagging her son Liam McCarney, on Facebook this week. There’s a big scar and it hurt like hell. Do you remember that? She is planning to carry out a live Skype call with son Liam on Good Morning America today… if she can figure out how to work Skype.

“Maybe you haven’t forgotten me, maybe you’ve forgotten how to use the phone”.
“So I was penciled in”, she said.
Unsurprisingly, there’s been no word from Liam yet, although Ann claims he did know about the clip and has “the best sense of humour”.
McCarney says she is known for posting amusing videos making fun of herself as a housewife and of life with four teenagers, and knew this particular video would strike a chord with her fellow parents on Facebook.
‘But you know what?
Mom posted the video on Facebook, and now the entire nation knows that freshman Liam hasn’t called once. She then goes into an explanation as to how to use a phone to make calls.
“You’re going to put it up to your ear and you’re going to hear this ringing noise. So you want to use that little icon, push the button, it brings up a little note pad and I know that I know my phone number because I pounded that into your head because I was always so anxious about you getting lost or stolen”. ‘So now I know I’m gonna hear from you, especially before your mother and father have to pay the next installment for your tuition in November’.

Then, Ann goes on to ask if Liam remembers his dad who isn’t named in the video. “It didn’t feel like a lot of time since the last time I talked to her”, he told INSIDE EDITION. “I never got around to it”, said Liam. But she knows she’s just one of many mothers hoping to hear from their college-aged kids: ‘He’s really not doing anything that 50,000 other college kids aren’t doing’.
