Mom tossed 1-month-old from fourth-floor window
The young mother who allegedly threw her newborn out of her fourth floor apartment window told investigators in her confession that her baby was possessed by the devil and had no other choice but to kill him, according to police sources. “Four o’clock in the morning, I step out and I heard something fall out the window, like a book”, building resident Mazol Ilyayeva said.

Authorities are searching for a kayaker in the Hudson River, not far from where another kayaking problem evolved into a murder charge earlier this year. The baby was found in a blue-and-white onesie. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five more buildings in the Bronx have tested positive for the bacteria that cause the potentially deadly Legionnaires’ disease, though there is no sign that anyone has grown ill from the new sites, New York City officials said Saturday.
Police said the boy had severe head trauma and they are investigating whether the boy fell, was tossed from a window, or was left there. Neighbors told 1010 WINS that the boy lived with his family on the fourth floor, WCBS added.
The child’s mother, father and two other adults who live in the home were being questioned by detectives. “Your baby. That’s insane”, said another.
Ilyayeva called 911. “As I’m sleeping, I wake up to the noise of people just running up and down the stairs”, neighbor Taylor Russea said.
