Thousands of people packed Dorton Arena at the State Fairgrounds to hear from Trump, who continues to lead the GOP field by taking on critics head-on and preaching a message of reclaiming what he says is the eroding status of the United States.
“We’re going to build a military that is so big, so strong, so powerful that no one is going to mess with us”, he said.
Once Trump recognised the two, he asked them to join him on the stage.
He also blamed the frustration the Black Lives Matter protesters feel on President Barack Obama, saying instead of a “cheerleader” Obama has been a “great divider”.
WTVD-TV reported that protesters yelling, “Black lives matter” were ejected from the event, while CNN noted that Trump was heckled 10 times during his speech.
For example, he said this: “I think I could lose a state, sure”.
Each time, the crowd booed and the protesters were quickly removed by a combination of security and authorities, though Trump grew clearly more frustrated as the disruptions continued. People around him glanced at him, one woman nearby saying, “Shut up, dude”, as he got through about four rounds of his chant.
“I would get myself in so much trouble with them, we are going to handle it so tough”.

While Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday was not entirely without incident, it also included a meeting between the real estate mogul and two of his more ardent supporters, the “Stump for Trump Girls”.
