Moms mad about Bugaboo ad featuring sporty model
Others criticize the Bugaboo stroller ad because of the lifestyle the model had before she got pregnant and how much easier – in their minds – it must have been to lose the baby weight at 23 years of age.

‘I love how natural this photo is and how it represents most mothers…’, said one Facebook user, whilst another added: ‘I have two children and if was running in this on the school run it would be because I’d forgotten to put my clothes on because we’re late for school, my 5-year-old had fallen off his scooter, my 2-year-old refuses to put his shoes on and there’s a good chance I haven’t had the time to do my bikini line.
What do you think of the stroller promotion?
Margo Scott Dunn, a new mom to a 5-month-old in Washington, D.C., says that considering she is in the market for a jogging stroller, the ad wasn’t very convincing for her. “Certainly I don’t identify terribly strongly with this model”, says Dunn, 32. The image immediately set off a firestorm of comments, beginning with, “I often also jog in a bikini”, and gaining momentum from there. The 23-year-old Dutch model – who has walked for Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein and Louis Vuitton – has recently moved from her native Holland to Harlem in New York, and lives with her personal trainer partner, Wouter Komdeur. “I would never get away with wearing that while I run, but great for her!” “I question the marketing approach, not her”, wrote another.
Cobb told TODAY.com that she does jog with her toddler, but it’s usually in a pair of yoga trousers or maybe her 10-year-old running shorts. “She’s a supermodel, she’s genetically blessed, and we have to take this photo lightly”, Bannan says.
“Hm, I don’t look like her, but obvs if I had the right stroller I would”.
They’re so sought after that several Aussie women were caught stealing the prams and selling them online for a profit just last week. “Supermodels are not the norm”. “Perfectly shot picture! She is one hot mama!”
Some saw past her fiercly fit body to notice the humor of a woman exercising in a tiny bikini. We want realistic depictions of women.

“And with no changing bag, she hasn’t thought this through! So in general, I look at this and just have to laugh a little”. Have an interesting story to share about your family?
