Monday Night Raw Recap: Believe That, Rusev
Randy Orton needs to beat Brock Lesnar fair and square. Before he could get the pinfall, Big Cass hopped into the ring and hit Y2J in the face with a big boot, giving Jericho the win by disqualification.

In addition to one of WWE’s most popular superstars in history visiting Raw, WWE.com’s preview of the show focuses on how WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks will respond to last week’s pinfall loss to former champion Charlotte as they head toward their battle in Brooklyn at SummerSlam for the title. “The Architect” and “The Demon” are headed straight for a showdown at SummerSlam, where they’ll vie for the newly minted WWE Universal Championship. While the two are expected to work on their respective shows, the match has brought out a cross-brand feud, which many got a glimpse of last week. The image above, tweeted out by the WWE, suggests Big E will likely be absent. She requested that her SummerSlam match against Charlotte be made a handicap match (pitting herself against both Charlotte and Dana Brooke) so that she’s not met with any outside interference. After a wicked clothesline, Strowman hits Nelson with an inverted chokeslam for another quick victory.
With just one episode of Monday Night Raw left to go and Brock Lesnar confirmed to make another appearance, what surprises will be in store for everyone next week?
In the other title pictures, it appears as though Roman Reigns is set to be the No. 1 contender for Rusev’s United States Championship, while the WWE announced this week that reigning WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day will defend the belts against The Club.
Even with Xavier Woods and Big E ringside, Kofi Kingston couldn’t put Gallows down for good as the big man took advantage of a ringside distraction provided by his RAW partner Karl Anderson to knock his opponent out.
