Monday, October 12 Midday Forecast
Mostly sunny skies are expected to start the week, with high temperatures warming to 75 across the Upstate while Western North Carolina peaks in the low 70s. The front moving through today has very little moisture associated with it so most of what we see from this system will be the clouds. Morning temperatures will be chilly along with wet weather, in the 50s for the morning commute. A break in the clouds arrives this evening around sunset, but it will be brief as more clouds come tonight. There may be an isolated shower, but most areas will be dry. Despite sunshine, highs will only make it to the middle 50s.

High temperatures warm up back to the lower 80s by Thursday until our next chance of rain comes in Friday morning. Tonight will be clear with a few light and variable wind. Lower 60s are the average for mid October.

Wednesday, there will be a few lingering instability in the wake of the cold front that moves through Tuesday. Following a cold front Friday night, highs on Saturday afternoon only hit the lower 60s.
