Monica Bellucci On Being A Spectre Bond Girl
In the movie, the actress looks glamorous and handsome in a black dress attending her husband’s funeral. Coming Soon reported that director Sam Mendes said that Bellucci has an incredibly seductive presence in the movie and he thinks that the character is very appropriate for the story. “This is only the beginning of the story”. Youre sort of telling the story backwards of how Bond became Bond.

Mendes returns to direct the film and Craig will be reprising his role as James Bond for the fourth time.
“You know, it makes sense in the story, makes sense with the ages of the characters we’re dealing with”.
Starring opposite Daniel Craig, 50-year-old Italian screen icon Monica Bellucci (The Matrix Reloaded) is the oldest actress to portray a so-called Bond girl in the 53-year-old film franchise. Its something that Sam Mendes intends to explore very thoroughly in Spectre, and he plans to answer some long standing questions about how James became Bond. Christoph Waltz will be playing the main villain of the film where Bond will find a chilling connection between the characters. “Hopefully it’s not just classic Bond but a classic thriller”.
It certainly sounds interesting, not only from a character perspective but from a view a little higher up that may actually take the future of the franchise into account. Fans have speculated that Spectre is just the second act in a dedicated trilogy that began with Skyfall, intended to place the series on a solid “Bond 2.0” foundation going forward.
Spectre’s release date has been officially set for November 6, 2015.
