Police said the third story balcony collapsed and brought down the 2nd and 1st floor balcony.

Officials said 31 students were injured after a balcony collapsed at off-campus housing during a party. He said each deck was crowded with partiers.

Foley posted a picture from the scene of the collapse on his Twitter feed that he identified as white tubing from a “3 story beer bong”. “Then you get 50 or 60 kids partying out there and it’s obviously a risky situation”.

Foley said the building is owned by Trinity and is not a fraternity house, though some people who live there are members of a fraternity.

Mayor Bronin said there were dozens of injuries but nobody was critically injured.
