Monkey has fun on loose in Orlando suburb
A monkey that was on the loose in a Sanford neighborhood has been reunited with its owner Monday, Greg Workman of Florida Fish and Wildlife said.

Police said they responded to the scene shortly after 8 a.m. when a resident called to report the monkey, named Zeke, eating mail out of a mailbox in the Hidden Lakes subdivision.
The owner was cited for needing to update his critical incident plan and clean some rust on his cage.
Like many of us, Zeek the monkey has quite the temper when he’s hungry.
Public Information Officer Shannon Cordingly told CBS News that officers are typically ready for anything but Monday’s call was a little “out of the ordinary”.
Within 20 minutes, the owner was able to coax the monkey identified as “Zeek” back into his arms. Ii think it tore some of the molding off of one of the patrol cars, but it wasn’t like it was aggressive.
Zeek’s owner, Jeff Jacques, has a permit and a license allowing him to own the monkey in Sanford, according to the station WFTV.
“When we arrived to help the monkey”, cops noted, Zeek “decided to pull off molding from one of our patrol cars”.

The monkey also drank from a water bottle that the officers offered as a distraction.
