Capcom announced today at E3 that a downloadable demo for Monster Hunter Generations for 3DS will be released on the Nintendo eShop on June 30.

Players are encouraged to join up with others and start with the newly introduced Great Maccao, then attempt to face the beguiling new owl-like monster Malfestio, all before truly testing their mettle against the fan-favorite Nargacuga. Before we forget, unlike all other Monster Hunter demos, there is no set limit for the number of times you can play this demo.

You can also acquire the Monster Hunter Generations demo by paying more than $4 for the E3 Humble Bundle, which also contains Psychonauts.

When you transfer save data from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate to Generations, you’ll receive bonus items like armor for your Felynes. It features some of the best beasts the game has seen, Deviant monsters. Encountered later in the game, Deviant Monsters provide the player with a challenging twist on monsters who have appeared in prior installments. The Dreadking Rathalos and the Thunderlord Zinogre are examples of Deviant Monsters that grant new parts to craft.

Monster Hunter Generations will release July 15th for the 3DS in North America and Europe.
