Also, a “mystery style” can also be used with the help of super moves. There’s some old maps as well with the Forested Hills from the first Monster Hunter getting a remake for this iteration along with the Valley from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.

Capcom’s live stream of Monster Hunter X has wrapped up and Alex has put together all of the gameplay footage for us. Like Poogie the pet pig in Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate, Cross will feature these lamb/sheep-like creatures that can be cuddled; something that not only looks cute, but will randomly give you items as well. It includes the game’s four fighting styles; as well as the four villages, namely Yukumo, Kokoto, and Pokke from the previous games, and the brand new Beruna Village.
