Stay tuned to IGN for more news from the Nintendo Direct.

In the likely event that Monster Hunter makes an appearance during tomorrow’s show (streaming starts at 2:00pm Pacific), we can all just do what Jeff Goldblum does on his birthday: act surprised.

The latest entry in the popular RPG franchise, Generations follows in the foot-steps of past entries. Developed by Capcom, Monster Hunter Generations will have four new key monsters along with some of the past signature monsters we’ve seen in previous installments. Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Monster Hunter Generations, and Bravely Second were all released a year ago, and the Dragon Quest VII remake has been available in its revamped form since 2013. Monster Hunter X was released in November 28, 2015 in Japan and has no official release date for a Western release – as of now.

Loyal fans of the franchise will be rewarded as well.
