For all the devoted fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey who are googling “Teresa Giudice Wiki” or “Facts about Teresa Giudice”, you’ve come to the right place. She turned herself in on January 5 of 2015 and she was released against just before Christmas, as was shown on The Real Housewives of NY.
In addition, Giudice reportedly “developed friendships while she was incarcerated”. In March 2014, they both pleaded guilty to a myriad of fraud charges and were sentenced to prison: 15 months for Teresa and 41 months for Joe, serving one after another so at least one parent could take care of their four young daughters.
After bursting into tears, Teresa responded, “I missed my house, and I missed you”. Queue the theme song, grab a cannoli, and pick your favorite tagline: Season 7 starts now.
The 44-year-old was reunited with her daughters in the opening episode of season 7 of RHONJ. You used to call me. “My poor babies, I know they felt lost”, said the mom. As fans know, the two ladies have been close for 13 years but their friendship went through a lot of obstacles in the last few years. Dolores acts as a mediator for former friends Teresa and Jacqueline. Melissa equates the situation to hearing from an ex-boyfriend after you’ve moved on and realizing that you’re better off. Both women agree that how they feel when they see Teresa will determine the course of future relationships.
That’s the case for Teresa and Joe Giudice, one of the main couples on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” since it debuted in May 2009; though they quickly became known for their severe financial and legal troubles.
Siggy Flicker of Tenafly and Dolores Catania of North Haledon are the two new faces set to star this season. Teresa heard that Jacqueline had been asking about her and writes that they have a lot to catch up on, and she’s looking “forward to a new beginning”. “I missed you.” To the camera, she added, “I made it. I did it. I was dreaming about this moment for the past 11-and-a-half months – like, am I really home?”
For Laurita, meanwhile, returning to the show “just felt normal”, she says. (I’m certain she’ll find a way to bling it out.) Teresa can’t go anywhere outside her home during that time without permission. “I can’t believe I’m home”, said the ex con. The girls are over the moon to see her. The paparazzi are camped outside her house hoping to get a picture of her homecoming. While she was behind bars, Bravo aired a brief spin-off called “Teresa Checks In” about her family; in February, Teresa released memoir detailing her experience.
The girls are ecstatic, and Teresa embraces all of her daughters at once. “I’m not going to make the same mistake twice”.
