Moore burns Fever with buzzer beater, Lynx lead series 2-1
The series is tied and both teams are looking to move within one win from taking home the WNBA title. “I haven’t seen the replay yet, when I let it go I knew I got it off”.

Minnesota may not speak too much about that 2012 series, but a win tonight would certainly work to squash those conversations. Going into Game 2 Tuesday night (8:00 p.m. ET, ESPN2) at the Target Center, they want to maintain their backs-against-the-wall mentality.
When it matters most, Maya Moore steps up.
What an incredible Game 3 between the Minnesota Lynx and Indiana Fever.
Minnesota trailed 77-74 before Renee Montgomery made a three-pointer to tie the score with 1:11 left.
While teamwork is an important aspect to capturing a championship, there’s usually one player who stands out a little bit more than the rest of their teammates.
Moore led all scorers in the game with 24 points, including that game-winning three that came off an inbounds play with 1.7 seconds left. Check it out below.
“I don’t think I have hit one of those with the Lynx”, Moore said of her game-winner. Indiana is trying to become the first No. 3 seed to win a title. But they didn’t miss much of a beat.
All of their starters were impressive tonight, with Shenise Johnson bringing in 17 points for the team, 15 from Briann January as well as 8 assists, 14 from Marissa Coleman, and a double-double from Tamika Catchings with 10 points, 10 rebounds.
AO: The Fever need to figure out a way to defend Sylvia Fowles. Now the scene shifts to Indiana, where the Fever will look to consolidate the home court advantage they seized in game one of the series with a game three win in front of their home crowd.
The Lynx didn’t have to rely on them, though, or Moore for that matter. And they took advantage of that period, using a 16-6 run while Moore was on the bench to regain the lead and momentum.
Despite playing only 10:25 of the opening half, Moore had 10 points and five rebounds.
Dunn, along with Pacers coach Frank Vogel, Paul George, George Hill, and C.J. Miles have bought 2,300 seats, which will be made available (up to four tickets per person) at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office beginning at noon on Wednesday. Both teams got off to hot starts in the first quarter. January scored nine first-half points on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc.
For the Western Conference champions, Maya Moore and Sylvia Fowles decisively lead the Lynx, but the 2014 WNBA MVP has had the biggest overall impact for Minnesota in the postseason.
