Clinton’s email habits as secretary of state have dogged her throughout her Democratic presidential campaign, with reports the FBI is investigating her use of a private server housed in her family’s home instead of a traditional government email account. Ms Clinton, a Democratic presidential candidate, relied on a private e-mail account and home-based server to conduct government business as the top United States diplomat from 2009 to 2013. She always said she had never sent or received e-mails on his personal server that were classified as confidential at the time.
