The case for Clinton, in short, is this: Party leaders still overwhelmingly support Clinton over any other contenders; the impressive crowds that Clinton’s chief rival, Sen.
“No, it is a compliment to Vice President Biden for also being a lifelong Democrat”, O’Malley said, adding that he has “a great deal of respect” for Biden and thinks he is a “very, very good and decent man”.
“You’ll have to let the vice president talk about that”, Alcorn, a former adviser to Biden’s recently deceased son, Beau, said.
Biden’s team has said it’s optimistic about his prospects in South Carolina, which holds the third primary contest and where Biden has deep political roots. Every Republican candidate is younger than Clinton and some – Sens.
Last week, Quinnipiac University released a poll that was damning for her in three important states – Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
