On Monday, Obama was playing golf on the third day of an expected two-week Hawaii vacation with his family, enjoying a round at Mid Pacific Country Club in Lanikai.
President Barack Obama hiked the Makiki Loop Trail along with family and friends at Hawaii Nature Center late Sunday morning. He made a lengthy chip on the final hole at Mid Pacific Country Club in Kailua, Hawaii.
He’s also been attacked in the past, including by GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, for spending too much time on playing golf – an attack that’s plagued past presidents too, including Obama’s predecessor George W. Bush.
Obama’s golf partners included childhood friends Greg Orme and Bobby Titcomb, as well as golf buddy Darrell Harrington.
This year alone the estimated bill for the First Family’s holidays was $11.6 million, including golf trips to Florida and California, and Michelle Obama going skiing in Aspen.
“President Obama seems oblivious to the burden he is placing on Americans with his continuous vacations, getaways and political junkets at taxpayer expense”.

According to media pool notes distributed during the debate, President Obama returned to his Kailua vacation rental just before 5 p.m. local time, about halfway through the debate.
