More LG V10 images highlight secondary display

Another significant feature of the LG V10 is its intelligent recording technology. The battery is still 3,000 mAh but is also still replaceable and supports Quick Charge 2.0.

Next to the secondary screen, LG points out that there are now TWO front cameras with field of views of 80 and 120 degrees.

Alongside the second screen sit a pair of 5 MP front-facing cameras.

The covers are off and LG does indeed have a “dual screen” V10 smartphone after all. The V10 can shoot video in HD, FHD, or UHD resolution, and there’s even an option to shoot in a 21:9 aspect ratio for ultra-wide screens.

As if the G4 wasn’t a powerhouse enough, LG looks to steal even more thunder in the later half of the coming years with this new line, obviously competing with Google’s Nexus 6P and Galaxy Note 5.

The LG V10 has improved video-editing and sharing features, so users can promptly post their videos on social-networking services.

There’s 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be extended by a MicroSD card (up to 2TB). LG’s most baffling new feature this time around is “Multi-view Recording” which engages all three cameras on the V10. Thus, the V10 and the G4 Pro could be LG’s double-barreled response, and we certainly wouldn’t balk at the prospect.

This Second Screen also helps you to do your work or enjoy the games or movies on your main scree.

Speaking of the rear camera, it features optical image stabilization and an F1.8 aperture. The two front-facing cameras are meant to appeal to selfie-lovers, but for the rest of us, there’s the secondary display above the main one.

The LG V10 will first be available in South Korea starting October.

Additionally, the stainless steel body with a silicon-based “Dura Skin” prevents damage and scratches.

LG on Thursday took the wraps off a new smartphone that touts a second screen, and offered a peek at a new smartwatch that can be used as a phone. With Manual Video Mode, budding directors can easily create professional-quality videos by adjusting options such as shutter speed, frame rate, ISO, white balance and focus while recording. Moeover, the back grid pattern has been designed specifically to offer a more secure grip.

Along with the popular Knock Code, the LG V10 features a new fingerprint sensor to unlock the smartphone and turn on the display simultaneously.

“The LG V10 was designed from the ground up primarily as a multimedia smartphone for the sharing ecosystem”, said Juno Cho, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. The Korean manufacturers latest flagship phablet will hit the shelves in Korea this month in five different color schemes – Space Black, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue, and Opal Blue.
