More ‘likely voters’ believe Clinton will win debate — CNN poll
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who has often praised Russian President Vladimir Putin, criticized US policy in Iraq during an interview broadcast on a Kremlin-funded television network.

“What would Ronald Reagan say about a Republican nominee who attacks America’s generals and heaps praise on Russia’s president?” “I think what he is saying is that compared to Barack Obama he tends to be more aggressive, more assertive, and more of a leader, and therefore gains more respect in his country, which is very different from what is portrayed”. Lauer has interviewed thousands of guests on The Today Show and even asked Ryan Lochte more serious questions than he asked Trump. But in this instance, he doubled down.
The Clinton campaign-not to mention every sentient human being whose last name isn’t Trump or who doesn’t draw a paycheck from someone with that last name-is angry at Matt Lauer for his handling of last night’s primetime “commander-in-chief” presidential forum. Trump was asked about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s praise for him.
“The obvious take-away from these numbers is that Donald Trump has staged a comeback from his post-Democratic convention lows, especially in Pennsylvania and Ohio”, Mr. In response to an audience member asking Clinton if she would deploy ground troops to stop ISIS, Lauer interjected for her to speak, “As briefly as you can”. The bulk of the attacks, however, centered on Lauer’s failure to challenge Trump on the Republican’s assertion that he opposed the war in Iraq from its beginning, despite evidence of him supporting the war in a 2002 interview. A new poll suggests most Americans (53 percent) expect Clinton to win the debates, which is sometimes considered a disadvantage – the person expected to win typically has to outperform to beat expectations.
“The military commanders serve at the pleasure of civilian authority”.
While the Trump campaign touted the size of its haul, it also tried to make the case that Trump doesn’t need the money that Clinton does.
Many intense partisans don’t believe – or don’t care – when an independent analyst questions the truth of a candidate’s statements. “The man has very strong control over his country”. Inside the network, executives tell CNN anonymously they also think Lauer was extremely bad.
He added that comparison applies to one of his favorite adjectives to describe Reagan: “Humble”.
Speaking in Laos, Mr Obama said that every time Mr Trump spoke it became clearer that the Republican contender was not qualified to be president.
“Ronald Reagan had his name on a lot of marquees”.
But, certainly, in that system, he’s been a leader, far more than our president has been a leader. This is not about me. “This is about the ideas we’re advocating'”. Now all eyes on the presidential debate. Tim Kaine, this fall.
The very objective of an interviewer is now up for debate.
Trump and his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, defended the comment.
As for Pence, he noted that he’s been focused on his state as governor of IN, and is working to get up to speed on national and worldwide policy. “We tried to have an agreement.” he said.

And he confirmed that his camp has a stand-in for Kaine for mock debates.
