More North Korean threat, this time over U.S. missile system
North Korea severed all communications with the U.S. at the United Nations in NY.

South Korea’s defence ministry said it will announce later on Wednesday the location of a USA military THAAD anti-missile defence unit, a planned deployment that has angered China and prompted North Korea to threaten retaliation.
Pyongyang, on the other hand fired back at Washington after the announcement of the deployment, warning that North Korea would instantly cut off all diplomatic channels with the US if the sanctions were not lifted.
Specifically, North Korea’s official KCNA news agency announced that the country would stop using the channel at the United Nations that’s set up for US and Pyongyang’s diplomats to talk, since the two countries don’t have direct diplomatic relations. They did say however that they will now handle all issues with the United States under North Korea’s wartime laws.
Some of the residents, including the county head, rode buses bound for the defence ministry’s headquarters in Seoul to express opposition to the THAAD deployment.
Zhebin also said that Russia now remains on the horns of a dilemma related to either retain a nuclear North Korea known to be a buffer for USA geopolitical ambitions in the region or have the U.S. forces with nuclear weapons and missile defense system on Russia’s borders in the East, the Far East, the Chinese-Korean border and the Korean-Russian border.
Seoul said on Wednesday an advanced U.S. missile defence system will be deployed in a remote southern county and will have the capacity to protect two thirds of the country against feared attacks from the North.
Han made the remarks during a meeting with South Korean parliamentarians that Seoul would “fully consider” a removal if North Korean missile threats come to an end.
The ministry, however, maintained that the deployment will not have any hazardous health effects because the THAAD battery will be operated at a safe distance from civilians.
North Korea’s only key ally, China is said to have been agitated over the move claiming that it would “seriously damage” regional security in Northeast Asia. The were issued because Obama Administration officials blame the leader of North Korea personally for the “notorious abuses of human rights” within North Korea.
The move to deploy the THAAD system also drew a swift and sharp protest from China.

North Korea blames the USA exclusively for the current strife between the United States, North Korea, and South Korea.

But the United States and South Korea argue it is necessary in the wake of intensifying threats from the North which, although banned from such activity by the UN, has conducted a series of missile tests and in January carried out its fourth nuclear test.
