More storms Christmas Day?
MONDAY: One last round of storms (some strong or severe) is expected. Showers and storms continue today, and a few of these could be strong with gusty winds, and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

CHRISTMAS DAY: Slowly improving weather, but we will still have to maintain the threat of a few showers and storms.
Highs should push into the low-to-mid 70s.
Today: It will dry out with a mix of sun and clouds expected, said StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar. The current record is 81F set back in 1987.
Our weather will remain unseasonably warm but also dry over the upcoming weekend as we await the development of the next storm system moving out of the Rockies. Most of that will fall Sunday and Monday. Showers and storms will come to an end and lows drop into the middle 40s. The focus for storms may be more in the morning hours versus the afternoon but it depends on how fast the aforementioned warm front can move through. That will bring another chance of rain and storms early next week.
Skies are mostly cloudy, and that continues through the day with south winds around 5-10 miles per hour. Christmas Day will be partly cloudy to partly sunny taking away our hopes of a White Christmas. Looking past the first of the year, we still see no Arctic Air invasion into the Southeast.
