More than $100 million raised by Sanders since January
“People are fired up by our candidates and ready to beat the Republicans”. “I get all of that”, Clinton said.

Mr Trump told his supporters that he is on his way to be the party nomination. “And I think it’s a very harsh statement”. “If Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she would get 5 percent of the vote”, he said.
Trump’s issues with women in the campaign extend well beyond Clinton.
He’s also underwater among females (-32) and non-major party voters (-34). Those who came out to Sunday’s caucuses had to be registered democratic voters, support either Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton, and live in the 24th Congressional District. Barack Obama eight years ago.
He’s calling on superdelegates to cast their votes “in line with the people of their states”. It also means Sanders would need to flip hundreds of superdelegates to his side to have a shot at the nomination – including many from states that Clinton won.
Clinton is still 91 percent of the way to the nomination, according to the Associated Press. But the rise of Sanders and Donald Trump in contentious presidential primary races has attracted new faces and more scrutiny to the delegate system in both parties.
“They’ve got to go into all of the blue districts, It’s winner-take-all by congressional district and we’re talking about finding Republican delegates in Maxine Waters’ district in order to send a loyal slate to the convention”.
During a news conference here, Sanders’ pitch was that superdelegates from states he carried, such as New Hampshire and Minnesota, should back him instead of Clinton, even if it wouldn’t be enough to close the gap with her. She’s planning a spree of lucrative fundraisers in New York, Michigan, California and Texas next month and has no ads running in coming primary contests.
In making his case, Sanders also said most polls show him leading front-runner Donald Trump by a wider margin than Clinton in a theoretical general election.
Todd Purdum: As the nation desperately looks for something other than the political status quo, Hillary Clinton might well win the presidency but still lose the country.
In February, Hillary Clinton was able to overcome her “Martin Luther King” moment from 2008 in SC. Likewise, 19 percent said a woman would be at least somewhat more likely to get their vote.
Sanders’ persistence could put a dent in Clinton’s plans, particularly in California.
Trump reiterated that he is the presumptive nominee.
At an earlier rally in Terre Haute, Indiana, Trump groused that his rivals were forcing him into “wasting time” that he could otherwise spend raising “money for the Senate races”.
Trump has frequently boasted that his presidential campaign is self-funded. He said he would do whatever it takes to help stop Trump – except, apparently, start to wind down his campaign. Or, as Trump might say, his “whatever”. Sanders, a Vermont senator, has vowed to continue campaigning until the last primaries on June 7, but he’s been shedding staff in states that already have voted and turning more toward influencing the party platform.

Cruz, who is trailing Trump badly in delegates, has placed a strong emphasis on in and a loss here in Tuesday’s primary could be crippling toward his campaign. Trump’s support in the polls has been consistent since March.
