Another of the highly touted pieces, a jacket Presley wore in the “Viva Las Vegas” dance scene with Ann-Margaret, expected to fetch $30,000 to $50,000, only got as high as $26,000, and was pulled from sale. Items such as a 1957 Elvis Presley doll still in the box sold for $5,000, half the expected $10,000 projection.
