Morena Baccarin Talks Character’s Relationship with Wade — Deadpool’ News
At Comic-Con over the weekend, the 38-year-old was promoting his new film Deadpool where it was revealed that daughter James Reynolds spent a great deal of time on set.

“He sort of detaches from her because he wants to go through this cancer thing, and doesn’t want her to be witness to it”, Bacarrin continues. If her first word is f**k, then I’ve done something wrong, but otherwise I think we’re fine.
While we’ve seen R-rated comic book movies before, the reality is director Tim Miller’s Deadpool should offer up material unlike anything we’ve seen.
“The second or third (word), that’s fine”. Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld created the character, and she first appeared in “The New Mutants” No. 98.
Reynolds said on the Comic-Con panel that it was the fans that forced the production of the Deadpool movie. “You see them love each other more and more”, she said. “I saw a couple that were awesome, that were really incredible”. “I’m not even exaggerating, we wept in Simi Valley California in some warehouse where some guy makes all these mad suits and had this one under a spotlight”. The comic character is entirely different than anything the average moviegoer has seen in a superhero/villain film, and they’re going to be blown away with just how unique the character is on the big screen. You’re going to get your merc with a mouth. The first hard “R” rated superhero movie, Deadpool, also stars Gina Carano, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, and T.J. “Nothing is taboo. You either commit to a truly outrageous boundary-pushing kind of movie or you don’t”.
“Boy, we had to fight to get the suit to where it is now”, Reynolds told ComicBook.com, adding, “There was a lot of work with very little time”.
