Nor will any of Morgan Creek’s other titles, as in a follow-up to another Twitter user, who asked about the Ace Ventura remake, the studio confirmed that they “have no plans to remake ANY of our movies”.

“It will go back into the company to fund more production”. Last week we saw the early rumors that Morgan Creek could possibly be interested in remaking “The Exorcist”.
“For the record, we will never attempt to remake The Exorcist” reads a message of the Morgan Creek Twitter feed.
The Exorcist is the latest Hollywood classic to be graced with a remake, but the original film’s director is not so pleased about the plans.
“The Exorcist” was infamous during its heyday as it was banned in certain towns and countries not just due to clamors from the Catholic church but because it was terrifyingly scary.
“The Exorcist” centered on a naïve child who gradually exhibited a odd and aggressive conduct after tinkering with a Quija board game.
Shortly after the news broke last week, director William Friedkin revealed that he doesn’t believe Morgan Creek even owns the rights to the original Exorcist, only the “so-called sequels”. Possessed by the devil she turns into a monster.

The 1973 movie was a huge success, receiving 10 Academy Award nominations and winning two, and going on to establish itself as a movie classic.
