Mortal Kombat X, the latest installment in one of the best fighting games of all times, has received an update patch after nearly a year of brutal fatalities and ruthless combinations. Presently, here’s the most recent overhaul about the Mortal Kombat X release date and new characters. Fans who already own the original Kombat Pack can experience the new gameplay by purchasing Kombat Pack 2. The free medieval-themed DLC will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One stages. The developer has not yet announced if the skin pack will become available on PC.
The update also comes with three new costume packs: Apocalypse, Kosplay, and Medieval. Based on the leaked pictures, Khan wears a Viking helmet with an alternate variation where snakes appear from his back armor, while Kung appears to be noble-like in an nearly iron-clad Knight costume.
The Kombat Pack 2 is evaluated at $19.99 and Mortal Kombat XL is at $59.99.
Both Alien and Leatherface are playable DLC characters in Mortal Kombat X.
In other news, the “Mortal Kombat” patch presents graphic improvements, which are at par with the game’s storyline, as per PC Mag.
March is nearly here and the month is starting off a little slow with the two biggest releases of the week being a complete version of one game and an HD remaster of another. In addition, the Kombat Pack 2 will be available to purchase for owners of Mortal Kombat X as well. The game’s Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions were canceled.
