Most voters say ‘meh’ _ at best _ on the presidential field

Democratic presidential nominees have carried the state by margins of 23 to 27 percentage points over the last several elections – levels below that seen in the current cycle, he said. In an interview with conservative radio host Mike Gallagher, Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, pushed back against Trump’s claims, saying that the convention system used in Colorado is “not an affront to the people of Colorado”.

Donald Trump said Hillary Clinton is “guilty as hell” in the Federal Bureau of Investigation probe of her private email server, but the GOP front-runner is doubtful she will pay the consequences. In a campaign organizing event in Brooklyn Saturday, she mentioned Sanders’ vote, while he was a USA senator, against a 2007 immigration reform bill, and said the bill was the best chance in recent history to get immigration reform through Congress.

The poll was conducted April 6-11, which means Cruz’s win in last week’s Wisconsin primary didn’t appear to have much effect on his support in NY. In the earlier Quinnipiac poll, Clinton had 54 points to Sanders’ 42 points. “What was posted on caucus night were only preliminary results”.

In a theoretical November contest wherein Clinton and Trump were the candidates, 56 percent of Cruz supporters would vote for Trump and a quarter would vote for a third party candidate.

“He frequently says, ‘Well you know I represent Vermont”.

Mr. Trump told an audience of approximately 10,000 people at a downtown arena in Albany that he is “millions of votes ahead” of Ted Cruz but is upset that the Texas senator swept all 34 of Colorado’s delegates without a traditional primary vote, highlighting what he called a a “rigged system”.

If our Democrats’ super-delegates believe in representative democracy and value the future of our country, it’s time for them to change their support to Bernie Sanders. “I have been pleased to sense a great deal of momentum”, Sanders said at a press conference in the New York City borough of Queens.

Notably, 30% of likely Democratic voters who support Sanders said they would not support Clinton in a general election.

As Sanders pledges to fight until the convention, the Clinton campaign is emphasizing her lead to offset potential worries over her recent string of losses. Sixty-seven percent of Republicans had a favorable view of him along with 55 percent of Democrats.

Sanders had the highest favorability ratings among all the candidates at 48 percent. They also surveyed 860 likely Democratic voters during that time, with a margin of error of +/- 3.3 percentage points.
