But a recent video shows labouring mum Yuki Nishizawa doing just that – including “The Butterfly” and “The Tootsie Roll” – while 7cm dilated. Her husband, Connell Cloyd, can be heard giving words of encouragement.
“With my first daughter I started dancing a week before I had her, seven times a day”. The song “Tootsee Roll“, by rappers 69 Boyz, had special significance for the couple.
On Tuesday, August 18, her hubby, Connell Cloyd, posted two now-viral videos – captioned as her “prenatal ritual” – to his Facebook. Nishizawa said later on in the video. Coji Alexander Nishitzawa-Cloyd was born around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, weighing at a healthy 6 pounds, 15 ounces.
A video of her busting some moves while in active labour has been shared more than 50,000 times on social media.
