Mother of baby Chance Walsh dies in jail
Kristen Bury, 33, pleaded guilty to an aggravated manslaughter charge in January and was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the death of her 2-month-old son, Chance Walsh. They administered life saving measures before she was taken by ambulance to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The initial investigation indicated suicide, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
The Medical Examiner’s Office and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. Chance was last seen alive on September 9 in North Port.
Bury and her husband, Joseph Walsh, told deputies several stories, including that Chance was killed in a auto crash in SC, and another that he was dropped off with a woman in Georgia.
