Motorola announces the $650 Moto Z Play, available in Canada this September

The answer, it turns, out, is that Motorola planned to launch the Moto Z alongside a device that makes a lot of sense in the Canadian market, the New Moto Z Play, which was announced today at consumer tech trade show IFA in Berlin, Germany. It features a 5-inch HD 720×1280 pixels display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. It is interesting to note that the Moto Z Play marks the return of the 3.5mm headphone jack which was missing on the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force, reported Trusted Reviews.The Moto Z Play will be released in the USA with a price tag of $449 sometime this month.

The Moto Z Play features a solid aluminium frame and a glass back, giving it a premium appearance much like other £500-plus phones.

Other features of the Hasselblad Moto Mod include a Xenon flash as well as features to easily share and backup your pictures and video.

At Verizon, the Moto Z Play will be available for United States dollars 17 per month with a 24-month contract or for USD 408 full price.

Motorola an American multinational telecommunications company on September 19 will host a Special Launch Event in India, where the company will launch a New Affordable smartphone in its Moto E series – the Moto E3. The detachable accessories give the phone an additional functionality to the smartphone which has been the most innovative implementation on smart phones in 2016. While Lenovo, which has already acquired Motorola Mobility, has yet to confirm this, the leaks and specs details on the Moto Z Play support the speculations that the flagship is coming out soon.

The new smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch OLED screen with an FHD resolution. In addition, the True Zoom mod has a unique camera application for the Z Play, allowing users to shoot images in RAW mode.

Moto Z Play will be available globally beginning in September. And when you do need to plug in, the Moto Z Play’s TurboPower charging can get you 9 hours of runtime in just 15 minutes. The global launch will take place throughout September and European pricing is set at €299. The Motorola Moto Z Play will be sold at $449.99. If true, the Moto Z Play looks like it will have a serious amount of stamina. In the USA it will be available for pre-sale on September 8 and available on September 15 for $249.99 at Verizon and $299 at Motorola.com.
