Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and Maxx 2 colors shown in latest leak
The DROID Turbo 2, on the other hand, is bound to be a virtual powerhouse for Motorola and Verizon Wireless offering what will likely be a QHD screen like on last year’s model, an excellent camera, and it’s possible there could be multiple options for the style like with last year’s model.

Anticipation is building nicely ahead of a Verizon and Motorola event on October 27 where new Droids will be unwrapped. Rumors have also hinted that among the materials available will be leather and ballistic nylon, and the DROID Turbo 2 could be released internationally as the Moto X Force. Motorola’s Droid lineup has enjoyed great popularity so far and the Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 will take things to the next level. The DROID Maxx 2 is expected to have a strong screen, too, but not the same as the one found on the Turbo 2. Are you more interested in Motorola’s Droid Turbo 2 or the Droid Maxx 2? A new press render now shows both the front and back of the upcoming Droids, offering a better look at their design and colors.

Earlier this week, Verizon already started teasing the “shatterproof” Droid Turbo 2 as the “perfect phone for imperfect people”, using the tagline “the new Droid is dropping soon”, and just the other day it posted another clip teasing that “your expectations will be shattered”. Perennial Twitter leaker Evan Blass sent out the image this afternoon showing three different front and back options for the Droid Turbo 2 and two additional configurations for the Droid Maxx 2. The Droid Turbo 2 backs are texturized for two of the handsets and smooth for the third. Also it estimates that Motorola would have had to install a special type of display on the device so that it would not break which would allow the company to market the phone as “shatterproof”. We’ll be at the Motorola event on the 27th to bring you all of the DROID-related news as it happens, so be sure to stay tuned.
