Motorola has announced the end of its exclusivity with Flipkart and has gone on to reveal Brightstar India as its new distribution partner.

It should be noted that only the Moto E (2nd Gen) has been made available via Snapdeal, and other devices from the Moto G and Moto X ranges still remain Flipkart exclusives.

Update: Following our report, Motorola has issued a press release mentioning that its Moto devices are now available not only via Snapdeal, but also through Amazon, select Airtel stores and other offline retailers. The company has announced that its 4G LTE variants of the Moto E will be on offer at select Airtel stores of the country, giving walk-in customers an opportunity to try out the device.

Rather than in Flip kart, the customers can buy the Smart Phones in offline by experiencing and purchasing device in live. “Consumers are at the heart of whatever we do and we will leave no stone unturned to enhance their buying experiences.” said Mr. Amit Boni, General Manager, Motorola Mobility India. The announcement was made at this month’s launch of Moto X Play. The Moto Maker service allows buyers to selectively customise their Motorola smartphones with shells, ascents among other things.
