Motorola quietly refreshes the Moto Hint with improved battery life, cheaper
Motorola unveiled the Motorola Hint, its first “hearable” device, past year alongside the Moto X and Moto G. The Moto Hint allows you to wirelessly connect with your Bluetooth enabled smartphone. A better fitting ear bud provides enhanced audio quality, and the new Hint comes with improved volume controls. One would think then that Motorola would be chomping at the bit to improve the device and get its second generation out in the market as quickly as possible. According to the packaging, a longer-lasting battery provides users with up to 70% more talk time. It also uses something called “crystal talk noise and wind cancelling technology” and has Bluetooth 3.0. However, the new model is only available in black colour variant instead of six different colour options seen in the original Hint. It also has a handy charging case so you can recharge it whenever needed. But what’s most impressive about Hint 2.0 isn’t what was added, but that it shucked a cool $20 from its price tag, now down to $130 (about £80, AU$176) on Best Buy.

Whether the launch was supposed to happen before the event isn’t clear, but regardless the device is still available for purchase on Best Buy’s website for $129.99 United States dollars.
